In order to carry forward the fine Chinese tradition of respecting, caring for and helping the elderly and with the support of the People’s Government of Zhongwang Town, the labour union of Tianjin Bingang Electroplating Enterprises Management Co., Ltd. organised a “Caring for the Elderly” themed activity on 15 November, visiting and comforting the elderly at the nursing home in Zhongwang Town, Jinghai District by bringing them milk, mixed congee and other donated products.

      At the event, Mr. Ling Shengqi, chairman of the labour union, had a heart-to-heart talk with the elderly, asked about their health status in detail, and urged them to take care and enjoy their life. At the subsequent interview by Jinghai TV, Mr. Ling commented, “Respecting, venerating, caring for and helping the elderly are one of the finest traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and a shared responsibility of the whole society. I hope that more people will join the action of caring for the elderly!”
