From 3 August to 5 August, Kimou Environmental Group convened the 2021 Project Exchange Session for various industrial parks at its Guangdong Huizhou Park. The Group’s board members, relevant officers in charge of the Group’s headquarter, general managers of each industrial park and officers in charge of relevant businesses attended the meeting.

The meeting explored 5 major topics including “Summary on works in first half of 2021”, “water projects’, “safety management” ,“informatization and automation”and “investment promotion”, generating extensive and lively discussions. The report on summary of works in first half of 2021 further clarified the development direction of key matters of each industrial park in the following half year; for the project meeting on planning and design of water body, the construction plan for the new surface treatment park was further improved in terms of architectural designs, process designs and engineering construction; for the project meeting on safe production, visits were conducted to study the safe production demonstrative sites of the Huizhou Park including the self-rescue system, the underground integrated pipeline network system and the physical and electrical transformation of environmental protection equipment. We interpreted the new "Production Safety Law" in conjunction with the actual production safety management of the Group and in industrial parks, analyzed the weaknesses and difficulties in the current production safety work and proposed opinions and solutions for improvement; for project meeting on informatization and automation, the idea of "unified planning and unified platform" for the future informatized and automated construction of the Group was specified, providing strong technological support and guarantee for the construction of a smart park management platform integrating operation management and risk prevention and control; for project meeting on investment promotion, it was proposed that the Group shall extend its investment promotion along the industry chain based on the regional industrial structure and industry layout of its industrial parks to promote upstream and emerging industries as well as improve the effectiveness of investment promotion…The meeting generated fruitful results consolidating ideas of every participant.

At the summary conference on 5 August, Mr. Zhu Heping, the Group's executive director and chief executive officer, suggested that the conference raised our awareness on aspects such as construction, operation and management of surface treatment parks to a new height. The standards of planning, design, construction and process of surface treatment park incorporating features of Kimou have been established generally, with a view to achieve better and faster development of the Group. The Group and each industrial park shall stick to the three main themes of two transformation, safety and investment promotion: firstly, we should accelerate informatization and automation construction, incorporating the two transformations to our practical work and the Group's business development, empowering the Group’s quality development with technology. Secondly, we should strictly comply with our safety rules. Safety should override any other matters. We should implement production safety at first place for all employees, all processes and all aspects to ensure long-term safe and stable operation. Thirdly, we should strengthen our strategies for investment promotion. The relevant work should closely consolidate with our corporate service, specifying target sector and introducing new sources, to achieve "great optimization" of business environment through focused coordination, quality service and strict supervision, so as to facilitate "great speed-up" in the Group's development.
