To celebrate the centenary of the Communist Party of China, strengthen the education on the history of the Party for the workers, stimulate the enthusiasm of learning history and patriotism, as well as to improve the quality of environmental education base in Huizhou Park, promoting environmental protection knowledge and enhance environmental education, Kimou (Huizhou) Surface Treatment Recycling Economy Industrial Park, taking the “World Earth Day” as an opportunity, organized about 60 party members, trade union cadres and representatives of the enterprises of the Park to carry out the education activity themed “Learning the Party’s History and Devoted to the Original Intentions”-The Third Session of “Protecting Clear Water and Blue Sky” on 22 April.

Visiting Guangdong Memorial Hall of East River Column

On the day of the event, the party members, representatives and cadres visited Guangdong Memorial Hall of East River Column in Luofu Mountain Tourism Zone to reminisce about the great achievements of the revolutionary martyrs of the East River Column and gain insight of the original intentions and mission of the Communist Party members. The revolutionary history is vividly presented by artifacts, photos and stories in the Memorial Hall and the great achievements of breaking through hardships make everyone deeply moved and brimmed with emotions.

Retracing Dongzong Road

Afterwards, the team leaders held the bright red flags and led the team members to step on the “Centennial Journey Road”, the 2.5-km-long steps engraved with the century-long struggle of the Party and condensed the touching deeds of numerous revolutionary martyrs. The revolutionary spirit of continuous self-improvement in the centennial history of the Communist Party of China is reflected in retracing Dongzong Road. Drawing on the red belief and great power, the enthusiasm of patriotism and love for the Party was further aroused, and the cohesion of the organization was strengthened.

During the event, the party members, team members and representatives of the enterprises of the Park also distributed the environmental protection promotional leaflet of “Energy-saving, Emission Reduction and Low-carbon Life” to the visitors, advocated a green lifestyle, actively implemented the concept of ecological civilization, and called for cherishing the earth and protecting the ecological environment, which was highly praised by visitors, and created a good social atmosphere of “Environmental Protection, Everyone is Responsible”.
