On 8 November 2020, the completion ceremony cum investment invitation conference of Phase 1 project of the Huazhong Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park (referred as “Huazhong Industrial Park” below) was held at the industrial park. Over 300 attendants comprising government leaders including Xiang Bin,member of the city standing committee and executive vice mayor, Zhang Yuanmei, member of the city standing committee , leading party member of the city government and first secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jingzhou Development Zone and Su Yunguo, director of Administration Committee of Jingzhou Development Zone, Ma Jie, the president of China Surface Engineering Association, and representatives from various industry associations, representatives from enterprises with contracting intention and employees from Kimou Environmental Group joined this event to witness the historic moment of Huazhong Industrial Park to start its new journey.

Xiang Bin, the executive vice mayor, noted in his speech that the completion of Phase 1 of Huazhong Industrial Park represented active implementation of“Integrating and Expanding Industries ”and was important to practicing green development and promoting improvement and upgrades of industrial economy; As the transportation infrastructure and industrial ecology of Jingzhou keep improving currently, we will continue to provide excellent services to enterprises with heart and passion, so as to create a better future together.

Zhu Heping, the president of Kimou Environmental Group, indicated that the industrial park will implement the idea of protecting the environment and developing economy simultaneously through scientific and intelligent management. He also hoped the surface treatment industry could seize opportunities continuously to achieve soaring results under the favorable environment.

Ma Jie, the president of China Surface Engineering Association, also expressed in his speech hopefully that the Huazhong Industrial Park could proactively promote the successful construction and operation experience of service treatment industrial park through providing quality management services to enterprises settling in the park, and thus bring new motivation and opportunities leading to healthy development of surface treatment industry in the Central China region.

Huazhong Industrial Park assumed the important mission to improve manufacturing industry chain in Jingzhou. The construction of the industrial park has shown initial results, establishing a solid foundation for investment invitation and introducing a favorable situation. At the conference, Secretary Zhang Yuanmei issued the “Investment Consultant” engagement certificate to Zhang Lianghong, the chairman of the board of directors of Kimou Environmental Group.

At the conference, Hubei Kimou Environmental Technology Limited entered into agreements of intent for settlement in the park with 25 enterprises. Representatives from enterprises with settling intention expressed recognition for the management and operation model of Kimou in different industrial parks.

This successful conference opened a new chapter for the development of the Huazhong Industrial Park. In the future, the industrial park will continue cultivate and foster innovation by helping new comers of the industrial park achieve quality development and assisting the electroplating industry in transformation and upgrading, so as to promote coordinated development of regional economy and environmental protection, which in turns contributes to building beautiful China.
