On 18 December 2019, the 2019 (Hubei) Coordinated Innovative Development Promotion Conference for the Environmental Protection Industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The conference was organised by Hubei Association of Environmental Protection Industry, Wuhan Association of Environmental Protection Industry and Wuhan University and co-organised by Hubei Kimou Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. with the theme of “Concerted Efforts in Conservation of Our Mother River and Eco-Environment", aiming at jointly seeking a new path for green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Representatives of enterprises in the 11 + 5 provinces (municipalities) along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Sub-provincial Level Association of Environmental Protection Industry, the Department of Ecology Environment of Hubei Province, the Yangtze River Basin Administration for Eco-Environment Regulation of the Ministry of Ecological Environment, the Key Watershed Eco-environment Section of the Department of Ecology Environment of Hubei Province and relevant units conducted discussions at the conference to jointly promote the coordinated development of ecological and environmental industries along the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

 

　　　

 

　　　Leaders from the 11 + 5 provinces (municipalities) together with the President and Secretary General of the Sub-provincial Level Association of Environmental Protection Industry organised the representatives of various units to discuss the latest developments of the grand conservation of the Yangtza River and the environmental protection industry. At the conference, a number of topics including “How to promote the green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in a comprehensive manner” and “Clear waters and green mountains are our invaluable assets” were discussed in depth, and innovative development ideas for environmental protection industry were brought forward.

　　　The representatives of Hubei Kimou Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kimou Environmental Group, were invited to share their experience on the theme of “practising the ‘Clear waters and green mountains’ thought and promoting the conversion of new and old kinetic energy”. It was mentioned that in the new era of “Clear waters and green mountains are our invaluable assets”, and “coordinated efforts to champion environmental protection and eschew large-scale development”, transformation and upgrading are inevitable for traditional industries; and in the construction of industrial parks, eco-environment conservation shall be put in the first place so as to achieve scientific, orderly and high quality development.

 

　　　

 

　　　At the conference, the representatives of Hubei Kimou Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. also carried out case study regarding the application of 5G communication, automotive, high-speed rail and electronics in the surface treatment industry to elaborate the important role of the surface treatment industry in the development in the national economy. In addition, the representatives also shared Kimou Environmental Group’s practice in promoting the “conversion of new and old kinetic energy” for the surface treatment industry, and pointed out the unique advantages of the industrial park model in such process.
