From 8^th to 9^th December, the first Boao Conference on Carbon Neutrality was held. Ecologist, economists and corporate representatives gathered in Boao to discuss how enterprises can make strategic transformation arrangements having the vision of carbon neutrality. Our Group representatives were invited to attend the conference and received the membership certificate of the Carbon Neutrality Committee of China Energy Conservation Association.

With a theme of "Carbon Neutrality-Leading Big Changes in Development", they shared views on many topics such as "Carbon Neutrality and Opportunities and Challenges Found in Transformation Development in China" and "Standardization Facilitates the Achievement of ‘peak carbon dioxide emissions’ and Carbon Neutrality" from three levels of "awareness", "reforms" and "guidance", focusing on top-level design and low-carbon development technology, and discussed how enterprises can make strategic transformation arrangements having the vision of carbon neutrality so as to lead technological innovation and industrial transformation as well as to drive transformation and upgrades of the energy structure in the conference. The conference also released the "Research Report on China's Corporate Carbon Neutrality and Social Responsibility" and carbon finance action plans in the combined pursuit of green development and thereby creating a low-carbon way of life.

As the construction operator of China's large-scale surface treatment circular economy industrial park, since its development in 2005, Kimou Environmental Group has adhered to the park management as the center, the enterprise service as the focus, and the pollution control as the core, effectively bringing changes to the traditional surface treatment industry with high levels of pollution, energy consumption and high emission while promoting green upgrade of the surface treatment industry. Kimou Environmental Group has set up four large-scale surface treatment circular economy industrial parks in Huizhou in Guangdong, Jinghai in Tianjin, Jingzhou in Hubei and Qingshen in Sichuan in order to facilitate intensification, agglomeration and cluster development of the surface treatment industry.

Against the backdrop of dual-carbon goals, Kimou Environmental Group will continue to uphold the philosophy of green, low-carbon and circular development by actively implementing the action plans of “peak carbon dioxide emissions’ and carbon neutrality, playing a leading role of the parks and promoting green corporate development, which in turn building a green manufacturing system, making due contributions to achieving the goals of “peak carbon dioxide emissions’ and carbon neutrality.
